I used my very best social distancing, hygiene and purell/Clorox wiping techniques to venture out and acquire this big, ugly, heavy chunk of iron and aluminum. It’s an LM7 from an ‘03 Suburban, I have zero idea how many miles are on it, and I’ve never heard it run... But it was $288.
Add that to the $180 4L80 I’ve had stashed and the $15 harness, ECU and E-throttle setup and I’m off to a remarkably cheap start!
I also replaced the totally trashed rag joint with half of a Jeep XJ steering shaft welded in its place for $12.
I found this trash laying around in my shed, too. The -4 AN line should prevent me from overdoing anything.
So, I just need an oil pan, mounts, headers, a rear end, a driveshaft and pretty much everything else!

Shitbox S10 with a Pick-N-Pull LS swap and nitrous? This can only lead to success!

With that much power, I would be worried about the Blazer folding in half.

It’s got a full boxed frame. I'm not too worried about that!

That’s what the shop vac and air compressor are for.
